Phil Libin, the founder of Evernote, has rebranded his video startup mmhmm to Airtime and unveiled a new suite of products designed to enhance online meetings. The launch introduces two key tools: Airtime Creator and Airtime Camera, both aimed at improving the engagement and professionalism of virtual meetings.

Airtime Creator is a video toolkit that allows users to deliver presentations with enhanced visual effects. Instead of just showing slides, users can present them dynamically while appearing on screen along with their colleagues. Up to 10 people can be featured on screen simultaneously, making it easier to engage audiences during team meetings or presentations.

Airtime Camera, another innovative product, allows users to customize their appearance during online meetings. You can adjust backgrounds, add logos, and even react with visuals or GIFs in meetings across platforms like Zoom, Teams, Meet, and Webex. These customizations aim to make users stand out and reinforce their personal or company brand during video calls.

This rebranding to Airtime marks the evolution of original virtual camera tool, adding new features to cater to users looking to make their online meetings more interactive and professional. Existing mmhmm users will see the app name change to Airtime and receive both tools as part of the update.

The Airtime Camera will be available for free until August 1, after which users can continue with a one-time $20 fee. Airtime Creator is offered as a $10 monthly subscription, with a free trial available for new users.

The startup, which has previously raised $100 million in funding from Sequoia Capital, SoftBank Vision Fund, and others, is looking to make online meetings more engaging and memorable with these new tools.
